Appearance
Appearance:
- Human Form: When seen in human form, which Rheneas always aims for when accompanied by others, he is viewed as a taller, fairly muscular man. This adult male has a tone figure; not thin, but not bulky. Rheneas's skin is fair, but he does have a slight tan from keeping himself outdoors. On his skin there are scars- some look as though they are from bites, some from scratches, but there is one that stretches across his chest that stands out the most. It begins at his right shoulder, then swipes down to end at his lower left ribcage. There are no scars that are visible on Rheneas's facial features. He has a cleft chin, grayish-blue eyes, and look that is comparable to ice. His hair is dark brown- chestnut, perhaps. Rheneas doesn't actually keep his hair in a certain style. His bangs come down to his eyebrows. Rheneas's hair also covers the top-most parts of his ears, hiding the tips of them which are somewhat pointed. The hair then goes down to nip right at his neck. As for his facial hair, this young man usually has a few stubs up and down his sideburns, and a bit at around his mouth and chin. All in all, Rheneas is somewhat kept tidy, but has a few rough edges to his looks.
- Anthro/Crinos Form: There are some characteristics to Rheneas's looks that resemble his human form when being this form. He is taller, and a bit less bulky, but still very tone and powerful. The scar that runs across his chest is still visible, though lightly covered by spaced hair follicles. As for the other smaller scars, they are covered by the fur that has grown thick and fierce across his entire body. The color of his fur is much like his original hair color, a chestnut brown, with a lighter tone on his inner arms and legs. His inner torso, such as his chest and abdominal's also have that lighter brown fur. Other than those features, Rheneas takes on the form of what you would image a werewolf would look like; wolf head with glistening sharp teeth, dangerous yellow eyes, and all that.
- Animal Form: Rheneas, when in his true animal form, has the same coloration as he does in his anthro form. However, he simply looks like a taller, stronger than average wolf. His eyes are still yellow, his claws still sharp, and usually his teeth are bared in a threatening manner.
Height:
- Human Form: 6' 6"
- Anthro/Crinos Form: 8' 1"
- Animal Form: 3' 10" (shoulder height)
Weight:
- Human Form: 167 lbs.
- Anthro/Crinos Form: 213 lbs.
- Animal Form:181 lbs.
Clothing:
- Human Form: Rheneas wears clothing that most country folk might. He wears hiking boots, darker colored, and worn into. Rheneas also wears blue jeans that are slightly faded from being worn so much. A black leather belt is kept on him to keep his pants from falling off. From there, he also wears a black, short-sleeved shirt under his black hoody. The hoody is slightly baggy, with a thermal design on the outside, but with a warm fuzzy texture on the inside. The hood is very large, and can actually mask his facial features from the shadow that is cast around his face. Under that all, there is a ball chain necklace around Rheneas's neck. There are no pendants adorned upon the chain, and he keeps the chain hidden. When traveling, Rheneas also carries with him a black backpack.
- Anthro/Crinos Form: During this time, when this male begins to turn, he either removes his shirt or simply rips through it. He also does this with his shoes and socks. The only clothes that may actually be on his person as a werewolf would be his jeans and underpants. Rheneas usually has rips seams at the ends of the leggings, and also wears a belt because of this. His ball chain necklace still remains on his person at this time.
- Animal Form: When he is in this form, Rheneas slips out of all his concealing garments. Underneath his fur, Rheneas's precious necklace is hidden from view.

History
Backstory:
- From birth to age Five: As an infant, Rheneas's mother knew her son was like her; a werewolf. It was motherly, and beastly instincts that brought her to this conclusion. His father, also a werewolf, accepted this, but did not like it. Between the two differing opinions on heritage, the infant Rheneas was raised by a loving mother, and a hesitant father. It was amazing how the two could co-exist together; a mother, fully embracing who and what she was, no shame in her bloodline what so ever. Luke, the father, had the exact opposite in beliefs. He knew what he was, and was not proud of it. Like Abigail, his wife, he hid his own animal from his wife, society, and neglected it in private. Full moons came easily for Mrs. Langsten, but not her husband. He would fight his animalistic urges during those nights, often causing extreme pain to himself. This pain only fueled his hate for himself, and was beginning to grow towards all who shared that heritage. Despite all of this, Rheneas was mostly raised by his mother, and seldom cared for by his father.
- From age Five to age Ten: During this period in his life, simple education came into play. Rheneas was to be taught the basics that young children would at his age. However, despite the attempts for Abigail to convince her husband otherwise, Luke demanded that Rheneas be home schooled. After long nights of heated quarrels between the two parents, it was Mr. Langsten's word that stuck firm. So, for the first educational years of his life, young Rheneas was taught by his mother in the comfort of his own home. The curriculum came fairly easy for the young boy, and he even began to take up reading with great anticipation. Both Luke and Abigail were pleased with this aspect in their son. Abigail saw potential for her boy, but Luke believed it made the child more human.
It was also in this period of Rheneas's life that he began to really see how different his father treated him. When his mother dealt with him, there was compassion, love, and understanding. Even when he was to be punished, she did so very well, not giving the impression that he was unloved. But Luke was different; much different. When he spoke to the growing boy, he would always look down on his son. His eyes, his tone, even his touch; everything came off as cold for Rheneas. Punishment was harsh, and usually involved a laborious task that was either almost impossible for the boy, or his mother intervened. When Abigail did intervene, Rheneas was told to go to his room, and from there he could hear the two adults fight once more. He was already a quiet boy, but the emotional tension silenced the boy to unhealthy levels. - From age Ten to age Fourteen: This is when Rheneas began to attend a public school. At first the boy remained quiet during his classes. Eventually, he eased into his surroundings, and made friends with the local youths. It was during this time that Rheneas's mother began to talk to the young boy about his own heritage, and that he should never share the information of him being a werewolf with other children; not even good friends. Rheneas agreed, but did not exactly know why. During that time, he was not showing any serious signs of being a werewolf. Rheneas hadn't even turned into one yet. Even on full moons, when the lunar phase called to him on those nights, the young male only looked up to the shining moon, and stared lovingly at it. He had witnessed his mother turn, and saw that she enjoyed being what she was. His father was another story entirely; he simply hid on nights of the full moon.
Speaking of Luke, the relationship between the two males were not going well. Luke could see his son embrace the wolf inside of him more and more, and he hated it. His tone was harsh now, and seldom did father and son spend time together. It was beginning to impact Rheneas badly- talking was rare for the growing boy when Mr. Langsten was around. Abigail saw this, but the relationship between the two adults was also diminishing. Luke was simply shutting his family out. This resulted in a disappointed mother, and a troubled boy. - At age Fifteen: Two things occurred in the life of Rheneas Langsten that would forever be branded into his mind as experiences that changed who he was. The first was his transformation on a night of the full moon. It came suddenly, and it came amazingly. Never before had Rheneas felt as he did that night; so empowered, so free. His mother was ecstatic for her boy. Rheneas's father was not so happy. Despite the two parent's differing opinions, Rheneas accepted who he was, and also began to understand why his mother wanted him to be less open about with others. It was a private affair, even sacred in the young male's mind.
Months later, and the second experience occurred. It was one night, when the growing boy was speaking with his mother. She was explaining to her son that being a werewolf was something that was not to be taken lightly with. There were responsibilities that came with the gift, and he needed to know them. But it was during that part of the conversation that Luke entered the room. He had with him an object, but he kept it from view. Luke barked out at his wife to leave him and Rheneas alone. She followed the command, but growled as she left. From there, the older male began to speak down at his son, telling him that he was an animal; that all were's were animals. He called his own son an animal.
When Rheneas was told he rise from his seat, the boy did so. He did not know what to expect from his father, so all the young male could do was obey his demanding father. It was then that Luke finally snapped. Without warning, the older male took out the object hidden -a silver blade- and slashed at his son. The pain was immense, unlike any that Rheneas had ever felt. So great was the agony that it made the young male fall to the ground unconscious.
Rheneas awoke from his sleep days later, cared for by his mother. She had tended to his wounds the best she could, getting bandages for her son. However, the damage was done. Forever would the young man remember his fathers actions, and carry that wound across his chest in the form of a terrible scar. - From age Fifteen to age Eighteen: After Rheneas's father attacked him, the older male left the family. He vanished forever, never to be seen by anyone in the area. As for the growing young man, he continued to learn from his mother about being a werewolf, and also attend high school. Rheneas was a fairly obedient child at home, but when it came to teachers and other staff members of the school poking around in his business, Rheneas became far more rebellious. While he did the homework, and was somewhat cooperative in class, the teenage male wouldn't take much else from his school. Other students found his new attitude rather intimidating, some liked it, and others (mostly guy-chasing girls) found it to be hot. No matter who did or didn't like Rheneas, the young man found no interest in them. He began to isolate himself from the other kids, losing friends who he once knew very well. It was painful for the young werewolf on the inside, but he did it anyway.
That way of life for Rheneas continued until his graduating day. He left the high school, and all those people he knew, and didn't look back. The young male, now a man in life, talked to his mother, telling her he had to leave. He had to make a life for himself. Though upsetting, Abigail did understand; all young male werewolves had the desire to be out there on their own, and she had to respect that. That was the last relationship Rheneas successfully cut; now he truly was alone. - From age eighteen to Current Age: Ever since his leaving, Rheneas has lived either off the land, or off of others. Often times, Rheneas silently goes through wooded areas, sniffing out humans, and finding that they sometimes take too long to reach an animal they shot. Sometimes, the werewolf would either rip a chunk out of the carcass, or just take the entire thing, depending on how soon the humans could reach the downed creature. On seldom occasion, Rheneas would dress himself in his human attire and visit the big city. Ever time he did this, he did not enjoy it; not one bit. It was always noisy, and far too crowded for his taste.
Lately, the male werewolf has received some sort of calling. In the back of his mind, something drives him to travel. The destination is unknown, but Rheneas can only travel towards whatever out there beckons to him...
