Blackherring High School The local school, for grades 9-12, or occasionally for those on an extra year. It's a small school, in need of some fixing up -- graffiti litters its grounds. But hey, it works. |

Hemstone Park A park, in the centre of the city, close to the two schools. It was opened a few years ago, named after the then recently-passed mayor of Blackherring, Jerry Hemstone. It has a playground in it. |

Blackherring College Blackherring's own college -- much larger than it's high school, and surprisingly renowned for its courses in tourism and fashion design. |

Jaxon's Cafe A small coffee shop near the college, frequented by the students there. It's quite a quaint little place, and with such modern interior design! Not to mention some damn good coffee. Mmm. |

Blackened Forest A forest just outside the city, commonly used by the local werecritters. It is so named because of a cluster of trees in the centre of the forest which are burnt black, as they were struck by lightning some hundred years ago, back when the forest -- and the town of Blackherring - were just in their humble beginnings. |
